Great concert!

Kudos to everyone who performed in the Lincoln Bicentennial Celebration last Saturday, Jan 31. I've heard nothing but positive comments from audience members.

Feel free to add your thoughts...either as a performer or audience member...

Thanks!

  2. It is such a thrill to be a member of this Chorus! Everyone that I talked to after the concert was so very impressed they could hardly wait until our next program.

  3. This is Ann...the new historian for AFC. If you have any stories or comments about the Chorus or performances, and you think they should be included in the history...please send them on to me. drravioli@digis.net
We are also looking for any photos of Senator Bennet taken that night or of Pam. Thanks so much!

  5. Comments I heard were terrific as well. Here's one from the journal of a family member:

The crowning event of the evening however was the performance of the American Festival chorus Lincoln Bicentennial celebration. They broke out music that brings tears to your eyes and rhythm to your feet. They had a black woman of some fame as a soul singer and performer. The crowd really loved her. In my opinion, if last performance the chorus was good this time the chorus was great. You can tell that Craig is really getting them whipped into shape. Their diction is becoming excellent and their sound was phenomenal. They garnered two or three standing ovations during the course of the concert.
